I’ve always had a huge sweet tooth growing up. I mean what’s life without some sweetness and pleasure?! Thankfully, you don’t have to sacrifice your health to satisfy the sweet cravings, especially when you can make delectable treats like these spiced apricot bliss balls in less than 10 minutes!

Made out of wholesome nutritious ingredients and free from dairy, gluten, grains, and nuts, these balls are one of my favorite things to snack on when I feel like having something sweet. You’ll love the combination of flavors and textures in this recipe. The dates and apricots yield a deliciously chewy texture complemented by the crunchiness of the sunflower seeds. The sweetness of dates is perfectly balanced by the mild tartness of apricots and the zest of fresh ginger and spices.

Ingredients

  • 5 small dates pitted
  • 1/2 cup dried apricots
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 inch piece fresh ginger grated (or 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder)

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients to a blender or food processor. Blend until all the ingredients are mixed well.
  • Form into balls and enjoy! Store leftovers in an air-tight container in the refrigerator.
